UPDATE:  Success Chess has a new homework website for 2005-2006 at Chesshomework.Com - please go to that website if your instructor gave you a student id number (password) that is good for the year.  That site is being used for almost all our chess students.  If you were given a password for chess homework that changes from week to week (often with the password printed on a colored card), then you would use this page, and input your password below.

Welcome to the SCS password calculatorpage. By typing in the correct password (a combination of letters and numbers) youwill be able to reach the extra-credit homework provided to you by your instructor.*Presently, we only have level one and level two (for those who have completed allof the level one assignments). We do anticipate having a level three section soon.

After you complete your homeworkyou must print out a copy of the result page (not the problems) and provide it toyour instructor. Be sure you have typed in your name and school/program. You willnot be given a new password until you have turned in your previous assignment. Instructorswill give students will only one homework assignment at a time. Each correct problemis worth 1/4 of a point. The number of points you can achieve for each assignmentwill vary.

Directions for each set of problemscan be found at the beginning of the assignment.

CHESS NOTATION: You must know algebraic notation to press the correct answer. Wedo teach this in our beginner's course.
