Taught by experienced teachers and chess players, this class focuses on nurturing interests in chess while paving the way for undiscovered champions. Our approach to teaching chess strategy and tactics combines originally designed activities and lessons that are fun and engaging with game playing and analysis.

Each student learns through hands-on methods and earns points through an awards system, setting goals for themselves and reaching them at the end of the school year.  On the last day of chess we'll hold an awards ceremony with trophies and prizes for everyone.  Families are always encouraged to join us!
